Rakuten racked up the wins Monday night at the Gabbcon 2019 ABBI AWARDS in Beverly Hills, with their recent media campaign that ran early in 2019. It launched during the 2019 Super Bowl, the most watched TV event of the year, with a teaser ad featuring a machine rewarding people with cash for pronouncing “RAK-uh-ten” correctly.
The team ended the evening holding a gold in the Best Multi-Screen Campaign category, a silver in Most Creative Use of Media as well as a bronze in Best Launch Campaign. Beating out competitors in more than 200 entries, this was no easy feat.
