  • Account Coordinator

    JOB PURPOSE

    On a day-to-day basis, the Account Coordinator assists and supports the operations of the Account Management Team, specifically, the Account Director/Account Executive.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Account Director will be responsible for the overall management of his/her account(s) or line of business. The Account Director represents the Agency’s senior management on a day-to-day basis at the Client and within the Agency. The Account Director plays a key role in developing subordinates.

    • Leads team in developing media strategies, tracking and analyzing media and creative performance and provides strategic insights and direction to client
    • Delivers overall revenue and profit production of their dedicated account

  • Account Manager

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Account Manager will be responsible for supporting the overall management of his/her account(s) or line of business. The Account Manager represents the Agency’s management on a day-to-day basis at the Client level. The Account Manager plays a key role in developing subordinates.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Leads and supports efforts to engage with clients to identify key strategic goals and formulate innovative, actionable media plans that meet or exceed goals and drive client business

  • Associate Director, Media Strategy

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Associate Director, Strategy constructs the strategic foundation for media channel development. The Associate Director, Strategy will play a key role in developing media strategy and makes insightful recommendations consistent with the approved strategy. As a key agency contact, he/she maintains strong relationships with the internal account services and media departments. The Associate Director, Strategy applies his/her knowledge of industry trends and Ocean Media’s consumer/channel insight resources to offer the clients fresh thinking. He/she manages team projects, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time and reflect both practical and strategic thinking.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Guides the team in translating client goals into strategic media solutions that grow our client’s brands, and ensure strategic consistency across all elements of media plan development and implementation
    • Leads research initiatives, identifying tools and resources that will aid in the consumer insight gathering and strategic planning process
    • Shares evolving media trends and opportunities with peers and clients, ensuring recommendations look to incorporate both existing media as well as emerging creative communication channels.
    • Leads the development of strategic media plans and ensures all media briefs and execution align with strategic direction
    • Works with media and account services teams to measure plans upon implementation and after execution to ensure delivery against strategic plans/goals

  • Digital Media Buyer - Programmatic

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Digital Media Buyer – Programmatic is responsible for the implementation of daily management and optimization of assigned programmatic campaigns. This position will assist in strategy and planning responsibilities including research and insights derived from past campaign performance and cross client learnings.  A thorough, hands on knowledge of programmatic media, Google’s Double Click Ad Products (DBM & DCM), AdWords and Facebook Power Editor is required. A critical eye for detail and a love for data analysis is a must.  Experience with online video campaigns and accounts that focus on ROI is a strong plus.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Own the day-to-day management and optimization of assigned programmatic campaigns
    • Pulls and analyzes campaign performance reports to inform daily optimizations and testing recommendations
    • Ensures that campaign KPIs and objectives are met both near and long term.
    • Prepares research and insights to inform ongoing media recommendations
    • Manages budget allocations and bid parameters to deliver most efficient results
    • Works with Digital Media Assistant to prepare weekly client reporting

  • Director, Podcast & Digital Audio Strategy

    JOB PURPOSE

    As the media landscape continues to evolve, podcasts and digital audio represent a unique way for advertisers to connect with consumers.

    The Director, Podcast & Digital Audio Strategy will be responsible for continuing to grow and build the digital audio media buying and strategy team, evaluating new measurement, buying and research tools and managing key publisher and ad tech partnerships.

    This position also supports the client service teams, and has regular interaction with clients. This role represents the Agency on a day-to-day basis with both current clients and prospective clients. This position participates and contributes to the continued growth of the department by providing strategic direction and participating in the management and mentorship of direct reports.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provides strategic leadership for the department
    • Leads and manages digital audio, podcast and smart speaker strategy, planning, and investments for new and existing clients
    • Sets goals and strategies for media negotiations
    • Works with direct reports on ongoing campaign strategy and management
    • Collaborates with the Director of Digital Operations on the successful execution of all campaigns
    • Collaborates with operations, client services and analytics on the continued development of reporting tools and analytics solutions
    • Leads the development of all client presentations pertaining to digital audio & podcast strategies based on past and current experiences with various media offerings
    • Provides strategic insight for media planning on specified accounts with a focus on using digital audio to drive profitable returns for the agency’s clients
    • Stays abreast of all digital audio and podcast trends, business opportunities and best practices

  • Media Assistant

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Media Assistant position concentrates on entering spot times and ensures pre and post logs are correct and sees to any needed corrections for various clients. The position maintains constant and effective communication with the Assistant Media Negotiators, Negotiators, and all members of the Media Department.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Requests pre and post logs from cable, broadcast, and local networks
    • Sends spot times from networks to Simix for processing
    • Trouble shoots and resolves any Simix problems that arise on a timely basis
    • Notifies the negotiator of any issues that arise daily with the account
    • Accurately tracks and resolves discrepancies and make goods along with Assistant Media Negotiator and Media Negotiator
    • Addresses any traffic rotation issues directly with the networks
    • Accurately submits finalized pre and post logs to negotiator for final approval
    • Submits approved pre and post log to account service team by due date and communicates any important information to the team
    • Monitors media dollars and impressions weekly and alerts the team of any discrepancies
    • Insures a fair and equitable distribution of spots according to daypart, day of week, and program
    • Communicates with networks and stations on a regular basis
    • Assists with general data entry and additional projects within the media department
    • Acts as back-up receptionist when needed and in the absence of the receptionist
    • General receptionist duties include: answering phones, greeting visitors, notifying employees of packages and other reception-related tasks

  • Media Negotiator

    JOB PURPOSE

    The position of Media Negotiator is responsible for negotiating, planning, buying and maintaining media buys in close liaison with their supervisor. This position is continuously developing and creating media strategies based on client objectives. Media Negotiators require attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.  Media Negotiators must have the ability to manage multiple projects, communicate effectively, be deadline-driven and have strong negotiation skills.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Plans, negotiates, buys and maintains media schedules in conjunction with Media Supervisor
    • A Media Negotiator will be responsible for smaller billing clients and will negotiate direct response deals on behalf of all Ocean Media clients
    • Shadows senior team members on national network negotiations
    • Oversee discrepancy resolutions and ensures timely and fair compensation for all assigned accounts
    • Maintains and completes makegoods and ADUs for all assigned accounts
    • Manages and completes post analysis for all assigned accounts
    • Secures and manages added value for clients
    • Evaluates new media opportunities and develops POV on key opportunities
    • Provides accurate network information for proposal templates and guides Assistant Media Negotiator on completion of data entry

  • Media Strategist

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Media Strategist is the strategic communication hub between Account Services and Media Investment, working with both to build strategies that deliver on client objectives within evolving media landscape. The Media Strategist will be responsible for developing thoughtful strategy through research interpretation and creative story telling. Must be a resourceful, solution-oriented multi-tasker and be able to not only leverage research tools, but also apply a critical thinking lens to the data. The strategy team as a whole is charged with creating a consistency across accounts, so attention to detail is key.

    • Collaborate with the Account and Investment Teams to develop and implement strategies across all channels
    • Research and analyze data using industry and agency resources
    • Identify target audiences and analyze behaviors and media habits to develop recommendations with the goal of increasing brand recognition, gaining market share, acquire new customers
    • Reach / Frequency pulls and additional research as needed
    • Collect and analyze information for various media channels (TV, radio, online, streaming, OOH) and assess the impact of the channels by market based on the client’s goals
