  • Account Coordinator

    JOB PURPOSE

    On a day-to-day basis, the Account Coordinator assists and supports the operations of the Account Management Team, specifically, the Account Director/Account Executive.

  • Account Manager

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Account Manager will be responsible for supporting the overall management of his/her account(s) or line of business. The Account Manager represents the Agency’s management on a day-to-day basis at the Client level. The Account Manager plays a key role in developing subordinates.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Leads and supports efforts to engage with clients to identify key strategic goals and formulate innovative, actionable media plans that meet or exceed goals and drive client business
    • Builds strong relationships with clients and manage day to day relationships
    • Fosters a strong strategic relationship with key team members at all levels of the client organization
    • Provides support in day-to-day communications with the client, handling requests including plan revisions, budget changes, media POVs, marketplace updates
    • Owns all internal aspects of day-to-day account management

  • Media Assistant

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Media Assistant position concentrates on entering spot times and ensures pre and post logs are correct and sees to any needed corrections for various clients. The position maintains constant and effective communication with the Assistant Media Negotiators, Negotiators, and all members of the Media Department.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Requests pre and post logs from cable, broadcast, and local networks
    • Sends spot times from networks to Simix for processing
    • Trouble shoots and resolves any Simix problems that arise on a timely basis
    • Notifies the negotiator of any issues that arise daily with the account
    • Accurately tracks and resolves discrepancies and make goods along with Assistant Media Negotiator and Media Negotiator
    • Addresses any traffic rotation issues directly with the networks
    • Accurately submits finalized pre and post logs to negotiator for final approval
    • Submits approved pre and post log to account service team by due date and communicates any important information to the team
    • Monitors media dollars and impressions weekly and alerts the team of any discrepancies
    • Insures a fair and equitable distribution of spots according to daypart, day of week, and program.
    • Communicates with networks and stations on a regular basis
    • Assists with general data entry and additional projects within the media department
    • Acts as back-up receptionist when needed and in the absence of the receptionist. General receptionist duties include: answering phones, greeting visitors and other reception-related tasks.

  • Media Negotiator

    JOB PURPOSE

    The position of Media Negotiator is responsible for negotiating, planning, buying and maintaining media buys in close liaison with their supervisor. This position is continuously developing and creating media strategies based on client objectives. Media Negotiators require attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Media Negotiators must have the ability to manage multiple projects, communicate effectively, be deadline-driven and have strong negotiation skills.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Plans, negotiates, buys and maintains media schedules in conjunction with Media Supervisor
    • A Media Negotiator will be responsible for smaller billing clients and will negotiate direct response deals on behalf of all Ocean Media clients
    • Shadows senior team members on national network negotiations
    • Oversee discrepancy resolutions and ensures timely and fair compensation for all assigned accounts
    • Maintains and completes makegoods and ADUs for all assigned accounts
    • Manages and completes post analysis for all assigned accounts
    • Secures and manages added value for clients
    • Evaluates new media opportunities and develops POV on key opportunities
    • Provides accurate network information for proposal templates and guides Assistant Media Negotiator on completion of data entry

  • Media Supervisor

    JOB PURPOSE

    The position of Media Supervisor is to both execute as well as supervise negotiations, planning, buying and maintaining media buys for all client(s) within their buying team. This role requires you to work as part of an integrated team and is responsible for the training and supervision of Senior Media Buyer(s), Media Buyer(s) and Assistant Media Buyer(s) in the group. Alongside the Associate Media Director, this position is continuously developing and creating media strategies based on client objectives and ensures these strategies are well executed. Media Supervisors require attention to detail, organization, and the ability to provide smart solutions and guidance to a team of individuals. Media Supervisors must have the ability to manage multiple projects, think strategically, communicate effectively, be deadline-driven and have strong negotiation skills.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Takes the lead role supervising planning and buying for all team activity
    • Collaborates daily with team to ensure group participation
    • Delegates tasks and responsibilities to team and ensures completion
    • Ensures all negotiations meet the standards of the pricing guidelines approved by senior management
    • Ensures that all buying deadlines have been met and procedures/policies are maintained

  • Senior Director of Local Media

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Senior Director of Local Media (SDLM) oversees all facets of planning and buying offline linear and non-linear media in local/spot markets, including sponsorships, local broadcast, cable, streaming video, radio/audio (terrestrial, streaming, podcasts), OOH, print and potential guerilla tactics.

    The SDLM manages all personnel in the local media department, providing leadership, mentorship and guidance to ensure a high standard of quality work and timeliness in delivery. This position ensures department resources and staff is managed efficiently and should provide an environment that fosters the development and ongoing learning of their team. This position also supports the client service teams and may have regular interaction with clients. The SDLM monitors and helps maintain all media relationships.

  • Traffic Associate

    JOB PURPOSE

    This position assists the Director, Traffic in various traffic-related duties. The position maintains constant and effective communication with the Director, Traffic, Account Executives, Media Buyers, Networks, Distribution Facilities, clients and creative partners.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assists the Director, Traffic with any and all duties
    • Updates various databases, such as: Master Traffic List, Cable Clearance Contact List, Network & Cable Distribution List among others on an ongoing basis
    • Keeps both client and AEs informed of upcoming deadlines and when new traffic materials/instructions are needed
    • Works closely with Media and Client Services in distributing materials (copy/ instructions, billboards, scripts, etc.) to national and local cable TV and radio networks
    • Assists with obtaining cable clearance/ approval for all new ads
    • Keeps up to-date records of traffic contacts at cable, broadcast and radio networks
    • Learns and implements ad distribution and traffic systems/ procedures for cable TV and radio
    • Reviews Nielsen and BVS reports daily to monitor/ track commercials that have aired and informs buyers of any traffic discrepancies
    • Follows all company health and safety procedures

  • Digital Traffic Manager

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Digital Traffic Manager helps ensure the proper technical implementation of ads and tracking for digital marketing campaigns in various systems. The position maintains effective communication about needed assets, information, and timelines with the Senior Digital Ad Ops Manager, Media Buyers, Account Executives, Publishers, Clients, and Creative Partners.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assists the Senior Digital Ad Ops Manager with any and all duties
    • Coordinating campaign launch and setup with Media Buyers and accurately build DCM campaigns placements according to trafficking sheet or IO
    • Accurately upload and assign creative in DCM, Facebook, DV360 and The Trade Desk
    • Maintains records of all traffic tasks for all digital campaigns
    • Create and distribute digital traffic materials to publishers when requested
    • Q/A all digital creative to be trafficked within DCM and Facebook
    • Adjust creative to adhere to specific publisher specifications
    • Obtains and negotiates approval for creative from publishers
    • Provides buyers with up to date approval status on all creative
    • Preserves client creative assets in an in-house archive
    • Troubleshoot issues with campaigns, creative and implementations as they arise in a timely manner
    • Create and implement pixels for Google Campaign Manager, DV360, Amazon, and The Trade Desk
    • Check reporting to make sure creative are tracking and rotating correctly
    • Create and implement DCM Trackers for AdWords
    • Multi-task on various campaigns and projects, remaining organized throughout and prioritizing tasks as needed
    • Maintain knowledge of industry trends as they relate to ad ops/trafficking
    • Staying apprised of current and new DSP functionality or data products
