  • Account Coordinator

    JOB PURPOSE

    On a day-to-day basis, the Account Coordinator assists and supports the operations of the Account Management Team, specifically, the Account Director/Account Executive.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Account Director

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Account Director will be responsible for the overall management of his/her account(s) or line of business. The Account Director represents the Agency’s senior management on a day-to-day basis at the Client and within the Agency. The Account Director plays a key role in developing subordinates.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Leads team in developing media strategies, tracking and analyzing media and creative performance and provides strategic insights and direction to client
    • Delivers overall revenue and profit production of their dedicated account

  • ASP.NET Tech Lead and Web Developer

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The ASP.NET Tech Lead & Web Developer will develop alone and assist, while guiding the team in developing and supporting important applications. The ASP.NET Tech Lead & Web Developer will be responsible for ongoing development projects and supporting legacy applications. The ASP.NET Tech Lead & Web Developer will work integrally and very closely with the Software Development and Operations Manager.

     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Designing and developing (enhancements and maintenance) new software solutions using the ASP.NET technology. Building new Web applications, REST APIs, and SQL Server objects
    • Lead and guide team members. Help design new solutions, troubleshoot and debug the code, and assist on deployments
    • Work very closely and provide day-to-day status reports to his/her manager
    • Take feedback pertaining to improvements and meet the overall business satisfaction

  • Associate Director, Planning

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Associate Director, Planning constructs the strategic foundation for media plan development and ensures consistency across all channels. The Associate Director, Planning will play a key role in developing media strategy and media plans, and makes insightful recommendations consistent with the approved strategy. As a key agency contact, he/she maintains strong relationships with the internal account services and media departments. The Associate Director, Planning applies his/her knowledge of industry trends and Ocean Media’s consumer/channel insight resources to offer the clients fresh thinking. He/she supervises all team projects, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time and reflect both practical and strategic thinking. The Associate Director, Planning will oversee the strategic development of media plans, and the reporting/optimizations of approved plans.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Guides the team in translating client goals into strategic media solutions that grow our client’s brands, and ensure strategic consistency across all elements of plan development and implementation
    • Leads research initiatives, identifying tools and resources that will aid in the consumer insight gathering and strategic planning process
    • Shares evolving media trends and opportunities with peers and clients, ensuring recommendations look to incorporate both existing media as well as emerging creative communication channels
    • Leads the development of strategic media plans and ensures all media briefs and execution align with strategic direction
    • Works with media and account services teams to measure plans upon implementation and after execution to ensure delivery against strategic plans/goals

  • Digital Analyst

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Digital Analyst will be responsible for transforming vast data sets into compelling and actionable insights. The Digital Analyst will work on everything from data management to insight generation and presentation. The Digital Analyst must be comfortable working with large datasets and distilling/communicating insights derived from the data. The Digital Analyst must bring a passion for creative and analytical thinking along with reporting know-how. He/she must also be a team player, with a willingness to collaborate on a variety of projects, as well as being an efficient and an independent worker. The Digital Analyst will have a track record of facing problems smartly with confidence, overcoming obstacles with limited time or resources, and maintaining composure under pressure. Responsibilities include working closely with teams to track, monitor, and optimize live campaigns to maximize performance.

    The Digital Analyst will work collaboratively across departments to understand the business need for data visualization and proactively make recommendations as to the best way to present data ensuring understanding with digital media performance analytics. He/she will be solution oriented, a self-starter, work effectively and independently as part of a larger team, along with strong communication.

  • ETL (SSIS) and SQL Developer

    JOB PURPOSE

    The ETL (SSIS) and SQL Developer will develop alone and assist other ETL developers in developing and supporting important applications. The Developer will be responsible for ongoing development projects and supporting legacy applications, working integrally and very closely with the Software Development and Operations Manager. The Developer will also be interacting and communicating with the Analytics team.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Designing and developing (enhancements and maintenance) new ETL and Business Intelligence Solutions using the Microsoft SSIS and SQL Server Relational Database technologies
    • Participate and deliver on new cloud data warehouse project and later work as the main ETL support member after the go-live
    • Monitor production jobs, maintain, and enhance legacy ETL processes on a regular basis. Improve slow running jobs with the help of redesign and better ETL processes to meet business needs
    • Work very closely with the existing DBA to design, model, develop, and maintain existing and new SQL databases objects required for all business solutions.
    • Take directions, follow recommendations, and share status reports to his/her manager

  • Media Assistant

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Media Assistant position concentrates on entering spot times and ensures pre and post logs are correct and sees to any needed corrections for various clients.     The position maintains constant and effective communication with the Assistant Media Negotiators, Negotiators, and all members of the Media Department.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Requests pre and post logs from cable, broadcast, and local networks
    • Sends spot times from networks to Simix for processing
    • Trouble shoots and resolves any Simix problems that arise on a timely basis
    • Notifies the negotiator of any issues that arise daily with the account
    • Accurately tracks and resolves discrepancies and make goods along with Assistant Media Negotiator and Media Negotiator
    • Addresses any traffic rotation issues directly with the networks
    • Accurately submits finalized pre and post logs to negotiator for final approval
    • Submits approved pre and post log to account service team by due date and communicates any important information to the team
    • Monitors media dollars and impressions weekly and alerts the team of any discrepancies
    • Insures a fair and equitable distribution of spots according to daypart, day of week, and program.
    • Communicates with networks and stations on a regular basis
    • Assists with general data entry and additional projects within the media department
    • Acts as back-up receptionist when needed and in the absence of the receptionist. General receptionist duties include:  answering phones, greeting visitors and other reception-related tasks.

  • Media Negotiator

    JOB PURPOSE

    The position of Media Negotiator is responsible for negotiating, planning, buying and maintaining media buys in close liaison with their supervisor. This position is continuously developing and creating media strategies based on client objectives. Media Negotiators requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Media Negotiators must have the ability to manage multiple projects, communicate effectively, be deadline-driven and have strong negotiation skills.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Plans, negotiates, buys and maintains media schedules for small to mid-sized initiatives for all things audio/local TV & Cable/Print/OOH in conjunction with Media Supervisor
    • Shadows senior team members on negotiations
    • Oversee discrepancy resolutions and ensures timely and fair compensation for all assigned accounts
    • Maintains and completes makegoods and ADUs for all assigned accounts
    • Manages and completes post analysis for all assigned accounts
    • Secures and manages added value for clients
    • Evaluates new media opportunities and develops POV on key opportunities
    • Provides accurate network information for proposal templates and guides Assistant Media Negotiators on completion of data entry
    • Supports Assistant Media Negotiator(s) with log duties when necessary
    • Works with the Account Services department to continuously, develop, monitor and adjust media schedules based on performance feedback from the client(s) and the Analytics department

    • Trains and mentors Assistant Media Negotiator in conjunction with Media Supervisor

  • Sr. Systems Administrator

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of company’s Information Technology infrastructure. Infrastructure includes hardware, network, security, desktops, and telecommunications.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Management and Troubleshooting of IT server infrastructure from on premise to virtual servers
    • Management and Troubleshooting of IT network infrastructure including switching, LAN/WAN, Virtual LAN, remote connections such as personal and site to site VPN
    • Management and Troubleshooting of IT security such as Active Directory credentials, firewalls, email security
    • Administration and Troubleshooting of Exchange Email Servers and other email related systems
    • Administration and Troubleshooting of telecommunications systems
    • Management of IT systems from multiple locations and remote offices

  • Traffic Associate

    JOB PURPOSE

    This position assists the Director, Traffic in various traffic-related duties. The position maintains constant and effective communication with the Director, Traffic, Account Executives, Media Buyers, Networks, Distribution Facilities, clients and creative partners.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assists the Director, Traffic with any and all duties
    • Updates various databases, such as: Master Traffic List, Cable Clearance Contact List, Network & Cable Distribution List among others on an ongoing basis
    • Keeps both client and AEs informed of upcoming deadlines and when new traffic materials/instructions are needed
    • Works closely with Media and Client Services in distributing materials (copy/ instructions, billboards, scripts, etc.) to national and local cable TV and radio networks
    • Assists with obtaining cable clearance/ approval for all new ads
    • Keeps up to-date records of traffic contacts at cable, broadcast and radio networks
    • Learns and implements ad distribution and traffic systems/ procedures for cable TV and radio
    • Reviews Nielsen and BVS reports daily to monitor/ track commercials that have aired and informs buyers of any traffic discrepancies
    • Follows all company health and safety procedures
