    JOB PURPOSE

  • Account Coordinator

    JOB PURPOSE
    On a day-to-day basis, the Account Coordinator assists and supports the operations of the Account Management Team, specifically, the Account Director/Account Executive.

  • Account Manager

    JOB PURPOSE
    The Account Manager will be responsible for supporting the overall management of his/her account(s) or line of business. The Account Manager represents the Agency’s management on a day-to-day basis at the Client level. The Account Manager plays a key role in developing subordinates.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Leads and supports efforts to engage with clients to identify key strategic goals and formulate innovative, actionable media plans that meet or exceed goals and drive client business

  • Business Intelligence Analyst

    JOB PURPOSE
    Working closely with the analytics and account teams, the Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing data visualization and ingestion for the organization. This individual will be expected to deliver unique business insights by packaging data in ways that will assist clients in understanding complex analyses and data trends. The Business Intelligence Analyst will also spearhead the data democratization movement for the agency identifying insights for specific audiences that will enable all levels of employees to leverage data for decision-making.

    A successful candidate will work collaboratively across departments to understand the business needs for data visualization and proactively make recommendations as to the best way to present data in an easily digestible format. The role will require a strong knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools, but also must be able to see connections and make meaning out of the data available. He/she will be solution oriented, self-start, work effectively independently and as part of a larger team, and be a strong communicator.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Maintains and advances the capabilities of existing dashboards ensuring functionality and customization where necessary
    • Spearheads data visualization projects focusing on analytics and media reporting

  • Database Administrator

    JOB PURPOSE
    The Database Administrator (DBA) will work closely with software developers and the Software Development Operations Manager to provide reliable backend database support and manage data storage infrastructure. The DBA will be responsible for providing technical support for the database environment including overseeing the development and organization of the databases, assessment and implementation of new technologies, and providing Information Technology with a long-term perspective on the relationship of database technology to the business opportunities facing the company.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Responsible for overall database architecture for entire company
    • Design of database structure, tables, relationships, etc. to be as efficient as possible adhering to industry standards

    JOB PURPOSE
    The Digital Media Assistant is an integral part of the digital media team assisting in all aspects of digital media campaign planning, reporting, optimization and creative trafficking.

    • Set up and traffic digital creative as instructed by digital media buyers

  • Human Resources Manager

    JOB PURPOSE
    The position will strive to maintain an employee oriented and highly productive environment. Acts as liaison between employees and management to promote a motivated and balanced work culture.   • Media Assistant

    JOB PURPOSE
    The Media Assistant position concentrates on entering spot times and ensures pre and post logs are correct and sees to any needed corrections for various clients. The position maintains constant and effective communication with the Assistant Media Negotiators, Negotiators, and all members of the Media Department.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Requests pre and post logs from cable, broadcast, and local networks
    • Sends spot times from networks to Simix for processing
    • Trouble shoots and resolves any Simix problems that arise on a timely basis
    • Notifies the negotiator of any issues that arise daily with the account
    • Accurately tracks and resolves discrepancies and make goods along with Assistant Media Negotiator and Media Negotiator
    • Addresses any traffic rotation issues directly with the networks
    • Accurately submits finalized pre and post logs to negotiator for final approval
    • Submits approved pre and post log to account service team by due date and communicates any important information to the team
    • Monitors media dollars and impressions weekly and alerts the team of any discrepancies
    • Insures a fair and equitable distribution of spots according to daypart, day of week, and program.
    • Communicates with networks and stations on a regular basis
    • Assists with general data entry and additional projects within the media department

  • Media Negotiator - Local/OOH/Audio

    JOB PURPOSE
    The position of Media Negotiator is responsible for negotiating, planning, buying and maintaining media buys in close liaison with their supervisor. This position is continuously developing and creating media strategies based on client objectives. Media Negotiators require attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Media Negotiators must have the ability to manage multiple projects, communicate effectively, be deadline-driven and have strong negotiation skills.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Plans, negotiates, buys and maintains media schedules for small to mid-sized initiatives for all things audio/local/print/OOO in conjunction with Media Supervisor
    • Shadows senior team members on negotiations
    • Oversee discrepancy resolutions and ensures timely and fair compensation for all assigned accounts
    • Maintains and completes makegoods and ADUs for all assigned accounts
    • Manages and completes post analysis for all assigned accounts
    • Secures and manages added value for clients
    • Evaluates new media opportunities and develops POV on key opportunities
    • Provides accurate network information for proposal templates and guides Assistant Media Negotiators on completion of data entry

  • Media Planner

    JOB PURPOSE
    The Media Planner is the strategic communication hub between Account Services and Media Negotiators, working with both to build strategies that deliver on client objectives within evolving media landscape. The Media Planner will be responsible for developing thoughtful strategy through research interpretation and creative story telling. Must be a resourceful, solution-oriented multi-tasker and be able to not only leverage research tools, but also apply a critical thinking lens to the data. The planning team as a whole is charged with creating a consistency across accounts, so attention to detail is key.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • The Media Planner will have a hands on role in development of the Upfront strategy and Quarterly maintenance including developing target insights, pulling and analyzing research, performance analysis, scatter, and incremental recommendations
    • Work with Account Services team to understand client objectives, target, business goals, parameters, brand priorities
    • Pull research utilizing OM research tools including: Nielsen NPower, MRI, Nielsen Media Impact, Comscore, and SQAD/NetCost
    • Analyze data to develop advanced targets and identify their media consumption behaviors, identify priority media channels/ partners including TV networks/ programs
    • Learn and apply media planning fundamentals (math, terminology, etc.) to strategy
    • Develop PowerPoint slides to creatively tell media strategy story
    • Use knowledge of Excel to build cost out tools
    • Work with Media Negotiators to understand marketplace trends including planning rates, inventory constraints, new programs/initiatives, etc., and develop top level cost outs
    • Develop Reach and Frequency scenarios through Nielsen Media Impact to determine optimal media mix scenarios that blend performance audience profiles to drive optimal reach
    • Apply research and data insights to inform the story telling of the media strategy – develop and sometimes present PowerPoint slides, as necessary

  • Receptionist

    JOB PURPOSE
    The Receptionist position for Ocean Media is focused primarily on answering phones and greeting guests in the front lobby. With a multi-line system; the phones are imperative to the overall functionality of the company. The position is also responsible for organizing and managing the inventory of various supplies, coordinating daily catering, and assisting the human resources team with various clerical tasks and responsibilities.

    • Answers and transfers all incoming calls
    • Greets, announces and verifies all guests to Ocean Media

  • Senior .Net Developer

    JOB DESCRIPTION
    The Senior .NET Developer will assist the team in developing and supporting important applications including responsibility for participation in an underway project which requires migration of a VBA application into ASP.NET Web Application. Additionally, the Senior .NET Developer will be learning the new ASP.NET application to build knowledge, develop new features and enhancements, and perform support & maintenance in the future for this application and other proprietary web applications. The Senior .NET Developer will work integrally with a project manager to execute on the existing design framework.
