  • Account Coordinator

    JOB PURPOSE

    On a day-to-day basis, the Account Coordinator assists and supports the operations of the Account Management Team, specifically, the Account Director/Account Executive.

  • Account Director

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Account Director will be responsible for the overall management of his/her account(s) or line of business. The Account Director represents the Agency’s senior management on a day-to-day basis at the Client and within the Agency. The Account Director plays a key role in developing subordinates.

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Account Manager will be responsible for supporting the overall management of his/her account(s) or line of business. The Account Manager represents the Agency’s management on a day-to-day basis at the Client level. The Account Manager plays a key role in developing subordinates.

  • ASP.NET Tech Lead and Web Developer

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The ASP.NET Tech Lead & Web Developer will develop alone (70%-80%) and assist/guide (30%-20%) the team in developing and supporting important applications. The .NET Tech Lead & Web Developer will be responsible for ongoing development projects and supporting legacy applications. The ASP.NET Tech Lead & Web Developer will work integrally and very closely with the Software Development and Operations Director.

     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Designing and developing (enhancement and maintenance) new software solutions using the ASP.NET technologies such as C#, ASP.NET Web Form, MVC, .NET Core, REST APIs, and MS SQL Server
    • Participate, learn, and later take the lead on a new large/complex multi-tier ASP.NET Core and SSIS ETL project. After go-live, be the technical point of contact, lead developer, and maintenance & enhancement resource for the new multi-tear application
    • Lead and guide team members every step of the SDLC. Help design new solutions, troubleshoot and debug the code, and assist on deployments

  • Assistant Media Negotiator, Local

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Assistant Media Negotiator works alongside a team of negotiators to insure media schedules are running correctly for all clients within their team. The position supports all data entry tasks that are needed for each client team, as well as department needs. Focus is also placed on requesting and evaluating important media reports, as well as assisting in the creation and maintenance of client and department templates.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintains all spot times logs for clients
    • Requests and reviews pre and post logs from cable, broadcast and local networks; contacts media representatives for resolution when necessary
    • Notifies team of any issues that arise daily with any account
    • Processes and pulls Netcost reports
    • Monitors Sigma reports
    • Requests research reports as needed

  • Associate Director, Planning

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Associate Director, Planning constructs the strategic foundation for media plan development and ensures consistency across all channels. The Associate Director, Planning will play a key role in developing media strategy and media plans, and makes insightful recommendations consistent with the approved strategy. As a key agency contact, he/she maintains strong relationships with the internal account services and media departments. The Associate Director, Planning applies his/her knowledge of industry trends and Ocean Media’s consumer/channel insight resources to offer the clients fresh thinking. He/she supervises all team projects, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time and reflect both practical and strategic thinking. The Associate Director, Planning will oversee the strategic development of media plans, and the reporting/optimizations of approved plans.

    • Guides the team in translating client goals into strategic media solutions that grow our client’s brands, and ensure strategic consistency across all elements of plan development and implementation

  • Digital Analyst

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Digital Analyst will be responsible for extracting actionable insights from digital video campaign performance data and reports. Drawing from experience across digital video platforms including Facebook and Google, pull reports, analyze performance, and provide recommendations to improve campaign return on investment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with datasets large and small, pulling data directly from advertising platforms or from databases like SQL and cloud databases like Big Query and Azure.  The digital analyst is equally adept at manipulating data, analyzing data for insights and patterns, communicating findings in oral and written presentations, and making data driven recommendations. Successful Digital Media Analysts will bring a passion for analytics and learning and be inherently inquisitive in nature. The role of the Digital Analyst is cross-functional in nature and will be expected to interface seamlessly between the Analytics and Digital Media Buying teams.

    The ETL (SSIS) and SQL Developer will develop alone and assist other ETL developers in developing and supporting important applications.     • Participate and deliver on new cloud data warehouse project and later work as the main ETL support member after the go-live
    • Monitor production jobs, maintain, and enhance legacy ETL processes on a regular basis. Improve slow running jobs with the help of redesign and better ETL processes to meet business needs

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Jr. Administrative Assistant/Receptionist position for Ocean Media is focused primarily on answering phones and greeting guests in the front lobby. The position is also responsible for organizing and inventory of various supplies and assisting the human resources team with various administrative tasks and responsibilities, as well as special HR and company projects and initiatives.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Answers and transfers incoming calls
    • Greets, announces and verifies guests to Ocean Media
    • Performs reception duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner
    • Maintains regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Senior ASP.NET Web Developer will be responsible to develop new and maintain (enhancements and fixes) business solutions in MS ASP.NET stack (C#, MVC and .net core, Rest WebAPIs, and MS SQL Server objects and user interface technologies (CSS, Jquery, JSON, Bootstrap, etc.). The senior developer will work alone and, in a team, developing and supporting important applications. The web developer will work integrally and very closely with the Software Development and Operations Director.

     

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Designing and developing (enhancement and maintenance) new software solutions using the ASP.NET technologies such as C#, ASP.NET Web Form, MVC, .NET Core, REST APIs, and MS SQL Server
    • Participate, learn, and later take the lead on an ongoing ASP.NET Core migration (Vb6 to ASP.NET Core) project. After go-live, be the technical point of contact, lead developer, and maintenance & enhancement resource for the application
    • Learn the current version of the application functionalities and database objects (stored procedures and tables) to understand the business scenarios and requirement. Debug and perform code walk-throughs to acquire and build the technical understanding of the new .NET core application

    • Expertise and strong technical experience in MS SQL Server (stored procedures, views, triggers, etc.). Experience in writing complex SQL queries and big stored procedure for a large dataset. Sound understanding of Index and performance aspects of database object development
    • Having ETL experience with SSIS and report building in SSRS will be preferable
    • Experience in design solution from scratch, logical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities
    • Ability to work independently and perform self-analysis, research and code debugging, coming with alternatives solutions to existing and new challenges
    • Strong written and oral communication, experience on reproving and presenting new design and solutions to senior leadership

  • Senior Media Negotiator

    JOB PURPOSE

    The position of Senior Media Negotiator is responsible for negotiating, planning, buying and maintaining media buys. This position is continuously developing and creating media strategies based on client objectives. Senior Media Negotiator requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.  The Senior Media Negotiator must have the ability to manage multiple projects, communicate effectively, be deadline-driven and have strong negotiation skills.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Takes lead role in planning, buying and negotiating larger billings and top market deals for all things audio/local TV & Cable/Print/OOO in conjunction with Media Supervisor
    • Oversees account maintenance, reporting and posting for all assigned accounts
    • Evaluates new media opportunities and develops POV on key opportunities
    • Provides accurate network information for proposal templates and guides Assistant Media Negotiator on completion of data entry
    • Works with the Account Services department to continuously, develop, monitor and adjust media schedules based on performance feedback from the client(s) and the Analytics department
    • Along with client objectives, utilizes media research tools and resources to aid in campaign development and optimization when making recommendations for media buys
    • Develops and maintains media partner relationships
    • Trains and mentors Assistant Media Negotiator(s) in conjunction with Media Supervisor
    • Tracks the market for trends, opportunities, etc. and uses this information to make recommendations on what is best for the client
    • Follows all company health and safety procedures
    • Performs other related duties as required or assigned

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    EDUCATION

    Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) required.

    EXPERIENCE

    3-5 years related experience required

    Experience in Local TV/Cable/Radio buying, Network Radio, Streaming Audio, and Podcast.  OOH is a plus
