  • Account Manager

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Account Manager will be responsible for supporting the overall management of his/her account(s) or line of business. The Account Manager represents the Agency’s management on a day-to-day basis at the Client level. The Account Manager plays a key role in developing subordinates.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Leads and supports efforts to engage with clients to identify key strategic goals and formulate innovative, actionable media plans that meet or exceed goals and drive client business
    • Builds strong relationships with clients and manage day to day relationships
    • Fosters a strong strategic relationship with key team members at all levels of the client organization
    • Provides support in day-to-day communications with the client, handling requests including plan revisions, budget changes, media POVs, marketplace updates
    • Owns all internal aspects of day-to-day account management
    • Develops client knowledge to begin architecting strategic plans and tests for the account
    • Partners with all cross-functional teams to assess performance, recommend optimizations and develop media plans to best maximize ROI
    • Stays abreast of industry trends, business opportunities and best practices
    • Provides insight and ideas for agency development to Senior Management
    • Supports third party client relationships as may be required (e.g. – creative relationships, etc.)
    • Follows all company health and safety procedures

  • Associate Director, Planning

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Associate Director, Planning constructs the strategic foundation for media plan development and ensures consistency across all channels. The Associate Director, Planning will play a key role in developing media strategy and media plans, and makes insightful recommendations consistent with the approved strategy. As a key agency contact, he/she maintains strong relationships with the internal account services and media departments. The Associate Director, Planning applies his/her knowledge of industry trends and Ocean Media’s consumer/channel insight resources to offer the clients fresh thinking. He/she supervises all team projects, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time and reflect both practical and strategic thinking. The Associate Director, Planning will oversee the strategic development of media plans, and the reporting/optimizations of approved plans.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Guides the team in translating client goals into strategic media solutions that grow our client’s brands, and ensure strategic consistency across all elements of plan development and implementation
    • Leads research initiatives, identifying tools and resources that will aid in the consumer insight gathering and strategic planning process
    • Shares evolving media trends and opportunities with peers and clients, ensuring recommendations look to incorporate both existing media as well as emerging creative communication channels
    • Leads the development of strategic media plans and ensures all media briefs and execution align with strategic direction
    • Works with media and account services teams to measure plans upon implementation and after execution to ensure delivery against strategic plans/goals
    • Works in the development and implementation of media campaigns including most or all of the following: National and Local television (Cable and Broadcast), Digital/Social Video, and Emerging Media, limited print/audio/OOH
    • Works closely with internal media and account services departments, applying media planning solutions to overall client objectives
    • Works with internal media team to ensure integrated / cross-screen objectives and strategies into overall plans
    • Develops and presents recommendations, evaluations, POVs and media analyses to clients and Account Service team. Travels as needed to meetings
    • Works with the Ocean Media buying team, providing buying specifications, monitors development and reviews media buys and post-buy analyses
    • Coordinates with the Buying and Account Service teams on understanding of current marketplace conditions, competitive spending or potential media opportunities
    • Gathers and analyzes data to provide sound, strategic, consumer-insights driven media recommendations.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Upon hire the Associate Director, Planning will work closely with Account Services and Media Departments, but will not directly supervise anyone. Upon hire of the Associate Director, Planning, the goal is to eventually hire Media Planners who will report to the Associate Director, Planning

  • Digital Media Assistant

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Digital Media Assistant is an integral part of the digital media team assisting in all aspects of digital media campaign planning, reporting, optimization and creative trafficking.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Set up and traffic digital creative as instructed by digital media buyers
    • Test and Q/A all creative trafficked within DCM (Double Click Campaign Manager) Pull and format weekly campaign performance reports to support internal analysis and weekly client reporting
    • Assist the Media Planners and Media Buyers as needed
    • Follow all company health and safety procedures
    • Perform other related duties as required or assigned
    • Effectively manage timelines to meet traffic deadlines

  • Digital Media Supervisor

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Digital Media Supervisor is responsible for all digital campaign strategy, buying, reporting, analysis and optimization. This is a client facing role working with both the client and internal account teams. A thorough, hands on knowledge of programmatic media, Google’s Double Click Ad Products (DBM & DCM), AdWords and Facebook Power Editor is required. A critical eye for detail and complete accuracy are a must. Experience with online video campaigns and accounts that focus on ROI is a strong plus.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Works with client account team to develop and present digital media strategies and plans for client approval.
    • Owns the day-to-day media campaign logistics through entire planning cycle across several clients
    • Develops efficient and effective plans based on a range of client goals and KPIs
    • Analyzes tracking reports to derive insights for client reporting and campaign optimizations
    • Prepares research and insights that substantiate recommended media strategies and tactics
    • Works with Ad Ops team to insure that campaigns are properly launched
    • Collaborates with internal account teams in post-campaign analysis and develops recommendations for ongoing media buys
    • Follows all company health and safety procedures
    • Performs other related duties as required or assigned

     

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    May be responsible for supervising the work of a Programmatic Digital Media Buyer and/ or a Digital Media Assistant

    Must have experience in interacting daily and optimizing programmatic campaigns, via Double Click Bid Manager as well as a high comfort level interacting with, and presenting to, clients. Must be extremely detail oriented and able to multi task in a fast paced environment. Experience with campaign management and client facing communications.

    Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must be experienced in analyzing data and developing actionable insights.

  • Senior ASP.NET Web Developer

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Senior ASP.NET Web Developer will be responsible to develop new and maintain (enhancements and fixes) business solutions in MS ASP.NET stack (C#, MVC and .net core, Rest WebAPIs, and MS SQL Server objects and user interface technologies (CSS, Jquery, JSON, Bootstrap, etc.). The senior developer will work alone and, in a team, developing and supporting important applications. The web developer will work integrally and very closely with the Software Development and Operations Director.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Designing and developing (enhancement and maintenance) new software solutions using the ASP.NET technologies such as C#, ASP.NET Web Form, MVC, .NET Core, REST APIs, and MS SQL Server
    • Participate, learn, and later take the lead on an ongoing ASP.NET Core migration (Vb6 to ASP.NET Core) project. After go-live, be the technical point of contact, lead developer, and maintenance & enhancement resource for the application
    • Learn the current version of the application functionalities and database objects (stored procedures and tables) to understand the business scenarios and requirement. Debug and perform code walk-throughs to acquire and build the technical understanding of the new .NET core application
    • Interact with project manager and other team members in the application development team on the daily basis. The role also requires working with cross-functional teams such as Infrastructure, Analytics, Application Users, and Digital
    • Follow the SDLC phases methodically and precisely to ensure proper requirement coverage, design and development completion, followed by effective unit testing to ensure quality deliverables.
    • Work closely and provide day-to-day status reports to his/her manager. Join Standup meetings, manage/update his/her Backlogs, and Application Releases
    • Follow existing MS VSTS Dev Ops practices, software source code version control using TFS, and create new build/release definition pipelines for new applications
    • Accurately estimate time required to complete projects and tasks. There is no exclusive testing team. Deliver his/her functional work product that has been thoroughly tested able to meet business requirement without any shortcomings
    • Communicate effectively with managers on progress and any complications that may arise
    • Research and learn new software development technology and practices followed by using them in creating better tools for the company
    • Works well independently; capable of self-motivating and managing
