  • Accounting Assistant

    JOB PURPOSE

    Organizes, analyzes and verifies invoice/affidavits. Analyzes, investigates and corrects discrepancies. Reconciles pre-payments with final invoices. Posts refunds to ledgers and other records.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Organizes, verifies and inputs invoices/affidavits

  • Account Director

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Account Director will be responsible for the overall management of his/her account(s) or line of business. The Account Director represents the Agency’s senior management on a day-to-day basis at the Client and within the Agency. The Account Director plays a key role in developing subordinates.

     

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Leads team in developing media strategies, tracking and analyzing media and creative performance and provides strategic insights and direction to client
    • Delivers overall revenue and profit production of their dedicated account
    • Owns all aspects of day-to-day account management
    • Peer management of cross functional teams to assure that client requirements are delivered
    • Fosters a strong strategic relationship with key team members at all levels of the client organization
    • Works cross functionally with other areas of agency to increase company-wide revenue production within the account
    • Stays abreast of industry trends, business opportunities and best practices
    • Provides insight and ideas for agency development to Senior Management
    • Manages third party client relationships as may be required (e.g. – creative relationships, etc.)

  • Account Executive

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Account Executive assists in the overall management of his/her account(s) or line of business. The Account Executive supports the Account Director on a day-to-day basis ensuring that proper communication is flowing throughout the account and back to the client.

    • Supports all aspects of day-to-day account management
    • Develops necessary presentations and results templates
    • Ensures media & performance database accuracy
    • Oversees and uploads MAP software data warehousing process
    • Records and delivers client meeting summaries
    • Fosters a positive relationship with key team members at all levels of the client organization
    • Works cross functionally with other areas of agency

  • Associate Director, Planning

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Associate Director, Planning constructs the strategic foundation for media plan development and ensures consistency across all channels. The Associate Director, Planning will play a key role in developing media strategy and media plans, and makes insightful recommendations consistent with the approved strategy. As a key agency contact, he/she maintains strong relationships with the internal account services and media departments. The Associate Director, Planning applies his/her knowledge of industry trends and Ocean Media’s consumer/channel insight resources to offer the clients fresh thinking. He/she supervises all team projects, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time and reflect both practical and strategic thinking. The Associate Director, Planning will oversee the strategic development of media plans, and the reporting/optimizations of approved plans.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Guides the team in translating client goals into strategic media solutions that grow our client’s brands, and ensure strategic consistency across all elements of plan development and implementation
    • Leads research initiatives, identifying tools and resources that will aid in the consumer insight gathering and strategic planning process
    • Shares evolving media trends and opportunities with peers and clients, ensuring recommendations look to incorporate both existing media as well as emerging creative communication channels.
    • Leads the development of strategic media plans and ensures all media briefs and execution align with strategic direction
    • Works with media and account services teams to measure plans upon implementation and after execution to ensure delivery against strategic plans/goals
    • Works in the development and implementation of media campaigns including most or all of the following: National and Local television (Cable and Broadcast), Digital/Social Video, and Emerging Media, limited print/audio/OOH
    • Works closely with internal media and account services departments, applying media planning solutions to overall client objectives
    • Works with internal media team to ensure integrated / cross-screen objectives and strategies into overall plans
    • Develops and presents recommendations, evaluations, POVs and media analyses to clients and Account Service team. Travels as needed to meetings
    • Works with the Ocean Media buying team, providing buying specifications, monitors development and reviews media buys and post-buy analyses
    • Coordinates with the Buying and Account Service teams on understanding of current marketplace conditions, competitive spending or potential media opportunities
    • Gathers and analyzes data to provide sound, strategic, consumer-insights driven media recommendations.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Upon hire the Associate Director, Planning will work closely with Account Services and Media Departments, but will not directly supervise anyone. Upon hire of the VP of Integrated Media, the goal is to eventually hire Media Planners who will report to the Associate Director, Planning

  • Digital Media Buyer-Programmatic

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Digital Media Buyer – Programmatic is responsible for the implementation of daily management and optimization of assigned programmatic campaigns. This position will assist in strategy and planning responsibilities including research and insights derived from past campaign performance and cross client learnings. A thorough, hands on knowledge of programmatic media, Google’s Double Click Ad Products (DBM & DCM), AdWords and Facebook Power Editor is required. A critical eye for detail and a love for data analysis is a must.  Experience with online video campaigns and accounts that focus on ROI is a strong plus.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Own the day-to-day management and optimization of assigned programmatic campaigns
    • Pulls and analyzes campaign performance reports to inform daily optimizations and testing recommendations
    • Insures that campaign KPIs and objectives are met both near and long term.
    • Prepares research and insights to inform ongoing media recommendations
    • Manages budget allocations and bid parameters to deliver most efficient results
    • Works with Digital Media Assistant to prepare weekly client reporting
    • Assists with account reconciliation
    • Follows all company health and safety procedures

    Must have experience setting up, managing and optimizing programmatic campaigns via Double Click Bid Manager, AdWords or Facebook Power Editor. Must be extremely detail oriented, passionate about data analysis and able to multi task in a fast paced environment.

  • Digital Media Supervisor

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Digital Media Supervisor is responsible for all digital campaign strategy, buying, reporting, analysis and optimization. This is a client facing role working with both the client and internal account teams. A thorough, hands on knowledge of programmatic media, Google’s Double Click Ad Products (DBM & DCM), AdWords and Facebook Power Editor is required. A critical eye for detail and complete accuracy are a must.  Experience with online video campaigns and accounts that focus on ROI is a strong plus.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Works with client account team to develop and present digital media strategies and plans for client approval.
    • Owns the day-to-day media campaign logistics through entire planning cycle across several clients
    • Develops efficient and effective plans based on a range of client goals and KPIs
    • Analyzes tracking reports to derive insights for client reporting and campaign optimizations
    • Prepares research and insights that substantiate recommended media strategies and tactics
    • Works with Ad Ops team to insure that campaigns are properly launched
    • Collaborates with internal account teams in post-campaign analysis and develops recommendations for ongoing media buys
    • Follows all company health and safety procedures
    • Performs other related duties as required or assigned

  • Human Resources Manager

    JOB PURPOSE

    The position will strive to maintain an employee oriented and highly productive environment. To assist with or direct the administration of all programs and processes including, but not limited to: compensation, benefits, occupational health and safety, training, recruitment, new hires, terminations and employee relations. Acts as liaison between employees and management to promote a motivated and balanced work culture. To assist with or to create or revise employee related policies and procedures to meet organizational needs and goals. This position is also responsible for ensuring company compliance with all state and federal employment related laws.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position will assist with or provide direction in areas to include:

    • Assess existing standard operating procedures, systems and tools, identify opportunities for improvement, implement improvements and report results
    • Conduct a continuing study of all HR policies, programs, and practices to keep management informed of new developments
    • Develop and administer programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align employees’ and Company objectives

     

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred (B.A. or B.S.) required.

    EXPERIENCE

    • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification required
    • 10+ years of HR experience with demonstrated competence in several HR functional areas such as compensation, organizational planning, staffing, training and development, etc.
    • Must have a strong knowledge in Employee Relations
    • Proven experience successfully leading and directing a team of HR professionals
    • Must have the ability to contribute at both a strategic and operational level

  • Media Assistant

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Media Assistant position concentrates on entering spot times and ensures pre and post logs are correct and sees to any needed corrections for various clients.     The position maintains constant and effective communication with the Assistant Media Negotiators, Negotiators, and all members of the Media Department.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Requests pre and post logs from cable, broadcast, and local networks
    • Sends spot times from networks to Simix for processing
    • Trouble shoots and resolves any Simix problems that arise on a timely basis
    • Notifies the negotiator of any issues that arise daily with the account
    • Accurately tracks and resolves discrepancies and make goods along with Assistant Media Negotiator and Media Negotiator
    • Addresses any traffic rotation issues directly with the networks
    • Accurately submits finalized pre and post logs to negotiator for final approval
    • Submits approved pre and post log to account service team by due date and communicates any important information to the team
    • Monitors media dollars and impressions weekly and alerts the team of any discrepancies
    • Insures a fair and equitable distribution of spots according to daypart, day of week, and program.
    • Communicates with networks and stations on a regular basis
    • Assists with general data entry and additional projects within the media department
    • Acts as back-up receptionist when needed and in the absence of the receptionist. General receptionist duties include: answering phones, greeting visitors and other reception-related tasks.
    • Follows all company health and safety procedures
    • Perform other related duties as required or assigned
