The position of Sr. Media Buyer, Podcast is to both execute as well as supervise negotiations, planning, buying, and maintaining media buys for all client(s) within their buying team. This role requires to work as part of an integrated team and is responsible for the training and supervision of Assistant Media Buyer(s) in the group. Alongside the Media Supervisor, this position is continuously developing and creating media strategies based on client objectives and ensures these strategies are well executed. The Sr. Media Buyer, Podcast must have the ability to manage multiple projects, think strategically, communicate effectively, be deadline-driven and have strong negotiation skills.
Communicates effectively with all levels of employees as the position conveys directives from Senior Management as well as requests from subordinates to Senior Management. Sets an example for the department and contributes towards the overall betterment of the company by following the guidelines set forth by Ocean Media. Acts with a level of maturity and professionalism in their dealings and interactions with management, other employees and network reps and managers.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) required
3-5 years related experience required
Compensation Range: $70,000-80,000/year. This is the pay range Ocean Media reasonably expects it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on level of experience, relevant skills, professional certifications, market pay, and demand for the role. Ocean Media reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
