Media Planning and Buying Agency to Launch First Television Ad CampaignFor Online People Search Leader; ‘Best Way to Reach the Next Level’ 

 HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (April 5, 2010) – Ocean Media (www.oceanmediainc.com), a leading independent media planning and buying agency, has been selected by Mylife.com as its agency of record to plan and execute the first national television ad campaign for the Internet’s leading people search site.

            Set to launch in mid-May, the “Who’s searching for you?” TV campaign is designed to drive awareness of Mylife.com with a fundamental focus on return-on-investment (ROI) and profits, a hallmark of Ocean Media’s media planning and buying philosophy.        

            The ad campaign will be national in focus, conducted across many of the most recognized and popular cable television networks, including Fox News, HGTV and A&E, among others.  With creative from Handmade Productions, the TV spots direct viewers to “go to Mylife.com” to find out if there are messages waiting for them from school friends, colleagues, relatives and past loves.

            Mylife’s target population for the ad campaign is ages 35 to 64, with a particular goal of achieving expansion at the top end of the demographic – an age group that has been proven, through Facebook and other social media sites, to embrace online networking.

            “Through online marketing, Mylife.com has achieved great success in becoming one of the web’s fastest-growing sites and the leader in people search, yet we recognize that the best way to reach the next level is through offline marketing,” said Armen Avedissian, vice president, Mylife.com.
