Ocean Media Bolsters its East Coast Presence with NYC Office
To facilitate its continued growth, Ocean Media now has a location in New York City. Located on the 41st Floor of the historic DuMont building at 515 Madison Avenue, the New York office will allow Ocean to better serve the agency’s expanding client base. Like Ocean Media, the DuMont building has a long history in media and broadcasting as the original home of the DuMont Television Network.
“While our headquarters will always be in Huntington Beach, the continued growth of our agency coupled with several East Coast clients made having a permanent office in New York a priority for us,” said Ocean Media Chairman and CEO Mike Robertson.
COO Ron Luebbert added, “We pride ourselves on our rapport with our partners and opening an office in New York will allow us to have media and account teams working on the East Coast while also providing a strategic base of operations for our West Coast staff when they are visiting clients in the territory.”
As the largest independent media agency on the West Coast it is natural for Ocean to expand on its current operations in the region. To staff the office, the company has both hired new employees and transferred current team members.
“The added benefits of opening an office on Madison Avenue is our agency will not only have access to the deep advertising talent pool that exists in New York, but we will be able to forge even tighter relationships with the many TV networks headquartered in the city, ” Jay Langan, President of Ocean Media said.
Ocean Media is the media buying agency behind well-known ad campaigns from such brand names as Priceline.com, eHarmony, Overstock.com, and Angie’s List. Photos from the new office building are included below and if you have any questions about media buying in New York, feel free to contact us.
