MyLife.com Adding New Social Features for 30 Million Monthly Visitors
Booming “People Search” giant MyLife.com is adding social features to help increase its visitors’ engagement with the site.
The new features include a “Work & Jobs” section to help members find new employees, new employers and to network better overall. MyLife Founder and CEO Jeffrey Tinsley says it’s like “LinkedIn for a broader market, with the focus not limited to white-collar jobs.” The other new feature is “Local Services & Deals,” which gives members the ability to find other members in their area who provide accounting, legal and real estate services.
With traffic continuing to increase to over 30 million unique viewers per month and 2.5 million new registered members being added monthly, MyLife.com is expecting its revenues to be up 40% in 2011 from $60 million in 2010.
