The Director, Local Planning oversees all facets of planning offline linear and non-linear media in local/spot markets, including sponsorships, local broadcast, cable, streaming video, radio/audio, OOH, print and potential guerilla tactics.
The planning team is the strategic communications hub between Account Services, and Media Negotiators, working with both to build strategies that deliver on client objectives within the evolving media landscape. This position manages all personnel in the local planning team, providing leadership, mentorship and guidance to ensure a high standard of quality work and timeliness in delivery. This position ensures team resources and staff is managed efficiently and should provide an environment that fosters the development and ongoing learning of their team. The leader of this team must be a resourceful, solution-oriented multi-tasker and be able to not only leverage research tools, but also apply a critical thinking lens to the data.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.)
