Chairman, CEO
Mike Robertson founded Ocean Media in 1996 to deliver better service and results to advertisers. His leadership and vision for the company took the business from start-up to national prominence in just three years. Mike developed the marketing plan that, according to USA Today, made Priceline.com a “branded” household name faster than any other company in history. Mike still enjoys his primary roles of working with the agency’s media department, client relations and all sales contacts with the major networks. He has 30 years of experience planning and negotiating media for a wide variety of accounts and industries including Priceline.com, Overstock.com, Ebates, Realtor.com, Avis, and Care.com.

President
Jay is involved in account strategy, management, media and agency growth at Ocean Media. Since joining the agency, he has been responsible for helping launch and manage accounts such as Etsy, BetMGM, Care.com, CarGurus, Mint Mobile, Overstock.com, Purple and Realtor. The agency has experienced tremendous growth over the years and the client success has been the most rewarding part of the process. Prior to joining Ocean Media, he spent eight years in integrated media sales in New York City. Langan was a sales manager at Bloomberg where he sold and developed media packages for brands such as Fidelity, Jaguar, Microsoft, and IBM. At Bloomberg, he worked with agencies across the country, including Ocean Media, on the launch of Priceline in 1998. Jay is a graduate of Boston College.

Ron manages the day-to-day operations for Ocean Media and has been with the agency since 1997. In the early years, Ron took on many roles as the agency developed and its client roster grew. In the last decade, his focus has shifted to assisting in the development of the research, analytics and planning departments for Ocean Media, helping it to continue to customize and upgrade its services for its clients. Ron has a master of fine arts from the California Institute of the Arts.

Senior Vice President, Analytics
Annmarie Turpin leads Ocean Media’s data and analytics efforts. With a keen focus on preserving the integrity of analytics while leveraging emerging techniques and technological advancements, Annmarie has forged Ocean’s path since 2011. Prior to entering the advertising industry, Annmarie exercised her data analytics skills as a crime analyst and real estate consultant. Annmarie has a master’s degree in demographic & social analysis from UC Irvine. Go Eaters!

Senior Vice President, Strategy & Development
Dave Coleman serves as the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Development. In his current role he is involved with the cross-channel development of client advertising campaigns, as well as the account management for several of Ocean Media’s clients. Prior to joining the agency, Dave worked for a number of New York media shops in planning and buying. Dave has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of California, Irvine.

Senior Vice President, Client Services
Gregg Bender began his career at Ocean Media in 2009 and helps lead the client services team. Gregg has over 25 years’ experience strategically leading B2B, B2C, brand, retail, direct response and ecommerce clients. He has put a Tiger in your Tank, a Dell computer in your lap and helped people find their ancestral heritage. Gregg has worked at some outstanding agencies across the country, including Carmichael-Lynch and McCann-Erickson. He is a graduate of Boston University.

Senior Vice President, Client Services
Clintton Fleschere serves as the Senior Vice President of Client Services at Ocean Media. He currently co-manages the Client Services department with Gregg Bender and is responsible for ensuring the highest levels of account service, communication and strategy across several integrated large and small ecommerce brands and campaigns. Prior to joining Ocean Media, Clintton had long stints at J. Walter Thompson, working on the Ford brand and Bozell.

Vice President, Finance
Andrea Clark serves as the Vice President of Finance for Ocean Media. In her current role Andrea directs all financial operations for the company including financial reporting and analysis, client billing and reconciliations, budgeting, cash flow and treasury management. She has worked in numerous industries over her career and is known for process improvements and researching and resolving lingering accounting issues. Andrea has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado and earned her CPA while living overseas in Australia.
Senior Media Director, Pricing and Strategy
Stephanie Stanczak currently serves as the Senior Director, Pricing and Strategy and oversees the Linear Buying Team. Prior to joining Ocean Media, Stephanie supervised local buying for clients such as Bank of America, DirecTV, Expedia.com, and Mitsubishi Dealers Association. Stephanie is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Media Director
Kevin has over 15 years of experience on both the media buying and ad sales side having spent 6 years at Starcom in New York planning and negotiating national broadcast audio and digital buys for the General Motors Account. Prior to joining Ocean Media Kevin was a New Business Account Executive at iHeart Media specializing in direct ROI based clients. Since moving to California and joining Ocean Media in 2015, Kevin has overseen planning and buying for clients such as Realtor, Priceline, and Overstock. In his current position he is dedicated to planning and buying for all new client launches. Kevin is a graduate of the University of Scranton and holds a master’s degree in corporate/public communication from Monmouth University.
Vice President, Digital Strategy
After starting his career in the mailroom at William Morris, Jared helped launch the agency’s digital media practice in 2005. As a Digital Media Agent, Jared worked with Fortune 100 brands and A-list talent on digital and social media strategies. Jared quickly realized that in order for content to thrive, online advertisers would need to embrace mobile and digital video as important and meaningful advertising channels. After leaving William Morris in 2009, Jared transitioned to the world of media and ad tech companies, working with brands to develop efficient and effective mobile and digital video media strategies.

Director, Human Resources
Keith Bersebach serves as the Director, Human Resources for Ocean Media. In his current role Keith directs all human resources operations for the company including employee relations, recruiting, and benefits management. He has worked in numerous industries over his career and is known for policy development and overall human resources operations management. Keith has a bachelor’s degree in communication from The Ohio State University.
Director, Research
Marcela works closely with account, media, and analytics teams and is responsible for the comprehensive suite of research tools that enhance and support the performance of our clients. Prior to joining Ocean Media in 2004, Marcela worked in a local cable ad sales marketing, research and promotions department, where she developed marketing and research materials.

Director, Information & Technology
Larry Magtoto is the Director of Information and Technology for Ocean Media. His role is to implement and advise on any technological projects at Ocean Media in accordance with the overall company philosophy. He has previously worked at Xerox and Minolta Business Systems. He has a double bachelor’s in business administration and information technology and is currently earning his master’s in IT.

Associate Media Director
Aileen Reyes serves as Associate Media Director, overseeing local TV/cable, all audio, print and out-of-home media. She is involved with the development of media campaigns under these channels for Ocean Media’s clients. Prior to joining the agency, Aileen has worked for a number of agencies and media shops in Los Angeles and New York including DavisElen Advertising, ZenithMedia, DDB Needham, and Fox Broadcasting in media buying working on clients such as Toyota, Lexus, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Fox TV and University of Phoenix.

Director of Analytics
Mark Wells serves as the Director of Data Analytics. His key initiatives include leveraging data to maximize client ROI, advance the analytics capabilities of the agency, provide direction for agency strategic decision making, and informing strategies that improve agency capabilities. He maintains a high degree of analytical integrity and intellectual rigor as key pillars in his approach. In his seven years at Ocean Media, Mark has helped to analyze and oversee analytics for more than two dozen brand launches as well as leading longer-term analytics for brands such as Priceline, Realtor and CarGurus. He has a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of California, Irvine.

Director, Traffic
Audrey started at Ocean in 2008 as Traffic Assistant. Since coming on board she has revamped the department’s infrastructure and improved its day-to-day operations, starting with the development of OM’s Traffic Application a.k.a. Traffic Tool. She has experience trafficking commercial spots on a local, national, and international spectrum. Audrey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Promotion from California State University, East Bay.
Director, Digital Strategy

Owen is changing the way Ocean buys media in his role as the Director of Digital Operations. Previous to joining Ocean Media, Owen lead a programmatic and social media buying team at Match.com, rode the startup wave at the programmatic ad exchange OpenX, and he started his advertising career by creating a performance programmatic buying team at Adconion Media, now part of Amobee. Owen has an MBA from UC San Diego and a BS in Economics from BYU.

Director, Software Development and Operations, Business Solutions
As a Director of Software Development and Operations, Tathagat manages the suit of custom application and a team responsible to develop and maintain business solutions for the Analytics team. He is also involved and manages IT tasks related to business solutions and new software projects. In the past Tathagat has worked for Qualcomm, United HealthCare, and Fidelity Financial as a software service and development manager. Tathagat completed his Master’s in Technology in 2000 from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India.
Account Director
Jason directs all facets of specific accounts including media planning and implementing media strategy, analyzing performance, proactively seeking optimizations and above all growing our client’s business! In the past, he has held management positions in a variety of departments from traffic to research, media to client services. Jason graduated from the University of Southern California.

Clint graduated with a degree in Business from THE San Francisco State University. He’s been in the marketing world for 15+ years helping many brands see liftoff to the clouds from the ground.
