Mike Robertson: Media Agency Media Buyer

Mike Robertson founded Ocean Media in 1996 to deliver better service and results to advertisers.  His leadership and vision for the company took the business from start-up to national prominence in just three years.  He has 23 years of experience planning and negotiating media for a wide variety of accounts and industries, including Priceline.com, eHarmony, Angie’s List, FreeCreditReport.com, MyLife.com, Ancestry.com, Overstock.com, and many more. Mike also founded and serves on the Board of Directors of the volunteer dental charity Share a Smile

 

 

 

Ron Luebbert
President & Co-CEO

Ron Luebbert: Los Angeles CA Media Buyer

Ron Luebbert has been heavily involved in the planning and buying for Ocean Media accounts during the last eleven years.  He helped develop the marketing plan that made Priceline.com a household name faster than any other company in history.  In addition to Priceline.com, Luebbert has managed a variety of national accounts during his tenure at Ocean Media including FreeCreditScore.com and Pitney Bowes. His leadership and experience have been critical to the growth of the agency.  Luebbert started his marketing career nearly 18 years ago, when he worked for the Professional Marketing Group in Seattle.

 

 

 

Jay Langan
Executive Vice President

Jay Langan: Huntington Beach CA Media Buyer

As a member of the executive team, Jay Langan is involved in account strategy, management and new business development at Ocean Media.  In addition, Langan heads Ocean Media’s Los Angeles office, as the agency continues to expand.  He will split time between the Huntington Beach headquarters and office in Culver City.  Since joining the agency in 2002, he has been responsible for managing accounts such as Overstock.com, LegalZoom, JustFab.com, Experian, Sony PlayStation, Ancestry.com, Care.com and KB Home.  Prior to joining Ocean Media, he spent eight years in multimedia sales in New York City.   Langan was a sales manager at Bloomberg where he sold and developed integrated media packages for some of the country's most recognizable brands, including Fidelity, Microsoft, IBM, and Ameritrade.  At Bloomberg, he worked with agencies across the country, including Ocean Media on the launch of Priceline in 1998. 

 

Staci Larkin
Vice President, Media

Staci Larkin: Los Angeles CA Media Buyer

Staci Larkin manages Ocean Media’s media planning and buying group as well as the agency’s traffic department.  Her media responsibilities include television, radio, print, outdoor and out-of-home.  Larkin started her career 22 years ago in the media department at Hill Holiday in Marina Del Rey, Calif.   She has negotiated local television and radio at Rubin Postaer & Associates, DDB Needham, and True North.  Among the accounts on which she has worked: Infiniti, Marshalls, Staples, Honda, Millers Outpost, Universal Pictures, Universal Studios, Wells Fargo, Chrysler, and Jeep.  Having joined Ocean Media in 2000, Larkin has developed media strategy and managed the media group on such accounts as Priceline, FreeCreditScore.com, eHarmony, Overstock, Angie’s List, Ancestry.com, MyLife, Ebates and Care.com.

 

Gregg Bender

Gregg Bender: Media Planning Agency Media Planner

Gregg Bender has 20 years’ experience working at large and small advertising agencies throughout the country, including Carmichael-Lynch and McCann-Erickson.  He has led the advertising efforts on such high profile brands as Dell, Exxon, Shell and Subway.  Bender has managed all facets of advertising including strategic planning, creative strategy and development, online marketing, media planning/buying, direct marketing, research, promotional development and execution.  His diverse experience includes managing clients in a broad array of categories including the auto, energy, financial, healthcare, high-tech, homebuilder, retail, and service industries.

 

 

 

Clintton Fleschere

Clintton Fleschere: Media Planner

Clintton Fleschere is Vice President, Client Services for Ocean Media/L.A., where he manages the Angie’s List, EBates and MyLife accounts.  Fleschere joined Ocean Media as Account Director in 2009 and managed the Priceline account for two years.  His tenure at Ocean Media followed posts at JNA Advertising, Bozell, Charter Media and J. Walter Thompson, where he began his advertising career and worked on the Ford Motor account.   He is a 1995 graduate of Kansas State University. 

 

 

 

Annmarie Turpin
Vice President, Client Analytics

Annmarie Turpin: Media Agency Media Planner

As the head of Ocean Media’s analytics department, Annmarie Turpin has helped clients such as eHarmony.com, Ancestry.com, Angie’s List, EBates.com, Overstock.com, Care.com, JustFab.com, Sharebuilder/ING Direct and FreeCreditScore.com maximize marketing return on investment and effectiveness. Using various data analytics methods, she provides strategic insights into complex media subjects including diminishing returns, media mix modeling, performance forecasting, and predictive analytics.  Before joining Ocean Media in 2009, Turpin applied her analytical skills to develop and inform law enforcement strategies as a crime analyst at the Irvine (Calif.) Police Department and provided tactical recommendations to real estate developers as a strategy consultant at The Concord Group in Newport Beach, Calif.  Turpin holds a master’s degree in demographic and social analysis from the University of California, Irvine. 

 

Stacey Shudak
Interactive Media Director

Stacey Shudak: Media Planning and Buying

Stacey Shudak oversees strategic planning, buying and optimizing for all online and emerging media at Ocean Media.  She is instrumental in the integration between online and offline media, helping to ensure seamless, efficient and effective campaigns.  Prior to Ocean Media, Shudak served at Doner, where she oversaw all interactive accounts.  She has worked in the online space for more than a dozen years, supporting such clients as Priceline.com, Angie’s List.com, Overstock.com, Mazda, Lexus, General Motors, PacSun and Black & Decker.

 

 

 

Dave Coleman  
Account Director

Dave Coleman: Media Planner and Buyer

Dave Coleman serves as an Account Director for the Priceline.com, JustFab.com and FreeCreditScore.com accounts.  In this position he works as the cross-functional team leader for the development of integrated marketing plans across multiple media channels.  He also works closely with clients to measure and optimize performance of offline advertising efforts throughout North America.   Prior to joining Ocean Media in 2006, Coleman worked for a number of New York media agencies, managing the planning and buying of offline campaigns across several national advertiser categories, including telecommunications, retail, consumer packaged goods, and non-profit. 

 

 

Jason Drews
Account Director

Jason Drews: media buyer and planner

Jason Drews serves as Account Director at Ocean Media and manages a number of accounts including Overstock.com.  Most recently, Drews was media manager, National Accounts at YPM, Inc. in Irvine, Calif., in the direct marketing sector.  He began his career at Ocean Media as Account Manager, eventually moving to Media Operations Supervisor.   Drews is a graduate of the University of Southern California.

 

 

 

Erin Enriquez

Erin Enriquez: social media director for our media buying agency

Erin Enriquez oversees the social media strategy and integration efforts amongst Ocean Media’s clients. Her past experiences on both the digital and media sides of marketing enable her to develop strategies that lead to successful social media campaigns, as well as opportunities to further the success of offline marketing campaigns. Prior to joining Ocean Media, Erin was the digital marketing lead for Terralever Los Angeles, focusing on online marketing strategies for Social Media, Website & Application Development and Search Marketing for clients such as Red Bull, DC Shoes, eHarmony, Microsoft, Apple, and Adobe.
